God Just Won’t Go Away!

Herbert Spencer (1820-1903), who is called the father of modern day science, was a great proponent of the theory of evolution. He was an agnostic who rejected theology as representing the “impiety of the pious.” Spencer is also quoted as saying, “The wise man must remember that while he is a descendant of the past, he is a parent of the future.” And it was he, not Charles Darwin, who coined the phrase “survival of the fittest.”  It is also attributed to him the idea that the universe is divided into five segments: time, force, energy, space, and matter. His idea of five segments or categories that describe the universe make absolutely 100 percent sound sense to me.

1). time … In the beginning

2). force … God

3). energy.. created

4). space … the heavens

5). matter.. and the earth

May the rest of your life be the best of your life and above all

Have A Great Day!

Okay, you got my noodle all tangled up on a Monday with this short post full of info. I’m an agnostic as well, but I just can’t stop using “God” in my vocal:

    Oh my god I”m ….
    For God’s sake
    Good god

God won’t go away for me either ….
