If you ask Diane Rose if being blind is a handicap? She will exclaim, “No!” She does not see it as a handicap. She views it an inconvenience that “…gets in my way…” and tries to hinder her from accomplishing her tasks.
Wow! talk about an indomitable spirit, a can do attitude, from a woman who thinks “I’m-possible” rather than impossible.
Diane Rose has thrown down the gauntlet to all of us facing obstacles and challenges. She makes nor accepts excuses for not accomplishing her goals.
